Uniting the industry, a voice for you
Since day one the Union has had one goal: a beauty industry that is more professional, better recognised, and better set for the future.
The Singapore Beauty Industry Union is built by the industry, for the industry. We believe only a united trade has the strength to talk to the government directly, and to make sure policy truly hears the voices of front-line practitioners. These are the three goals we work on every day.

A stronger beauty industry, a brighter Singapore
Beauty practitioners have long worked hard to deliver quality services, driving the development of Singapore's beauty industry and earning it an important place on the international beauty stage. The Union's task is to unite the strengths and voices of everyone in the trade, so that hard-won standing is held and built upon.

Uniting the trade, talking to government directly
The Union speaks for the industry. On the policy measures that shape the business environment and the profession's development, we keep close communication with government departments and the legislature, pressing for policies that let the trade grow — and making sure front-line views are heard before decisions are made.

A fair way to settle disputes, for salons and customers
The Union operates a Mediation and Arbitration Centre. Where a dispute arises between a beauty salon and a customer, it can be referred to the Centre, which resolves disputes through mediation first and arbitration second. The first 3 hours of mediation service are free; beyond 3 hours, the mediator will provide a quotation based on the individual case.
